Press release October 25, 2024
Valencia, October 24, 2024 – In a remarkable achievement, HULO.ai has clinched the coveted title at the VDS Startup Competition held during the Valencia Digital Summit. This victory marks a significant milestone for HULO.ai, whose innovative approach to water management technology has captured the attention of global technology investors and experts.
“Winning this award is a recognition of our hard work and the innovative potential of our AI-driven technology to transform water management,” said Robbert Lodewijks founder and CEO of HULO.ai. “This is just the beginning of our mission to save billions of liters of water and change how utility companies manage their networks.”
HULO.ai was selected as one of the top 10 startups out of over 800 global entries at the event in Valencia, where the founder presented the company’s vision to tackle the global issue of water loss. Statistics show that about 30% of all clean drinking water globally is lost due to leaks, an issue HULO.ai addresses with advanced AI solutions.
The event, organized by Startup Valencia and held at the iconic City of Arts and Sciences, is one of the most prominent international tech events in Southern Europe. “The energy here at VDS is inspiring, with so many brilliant creative minds in one place,” added the CEO.
With the theme ‘Embracing Evolution: Invest in the Leaders of Tomorrow,’ the Valencia Digital Summit celebrates its seventh edition this year, with TNW, a Financial Times Company, as a strategic partner. The event underscores the current technological revolution and its positive impact on society, positioning Valencia as a global tech hub.
“No matter the outcome of the final, the momentum we’re building together to save water, reduce waste, and create a more sustainable future is already a win,” concludes Robbert Lodewijks.
