CityLegends Raises €1.8M to take its urban sports and street culture platform global

Eindhoven, the Netherlands | October 28, 2025, – CityLegends, the leading urban sports and street culture platform, has raised €1.8M to scale globally and supercharge its tech, helping Gen Z turn street sports, creativity, and local communities into a digital playground. The round saw participation from San Francisco headquartered GFR Fund, Dutch Sport Tech Fund, Leisure Fund, and SportInnovator, with follow-on investments from existing backers LUMO Labs and LeanSquare.

CityLegends is a social network for street culture where skaters, freerunners, BMX riders, dancers, and creators share spots, clips, and events — creating street Esports contests, able to measure your performance, and turning concrete into playgrounds. The platform is already active in over 40 cities across Europe, the United States, and Asia, with further global expansion plans underway.
